As part of the Orbit Approach project we have an Information Point and Library.
The purpose of the information point is for people with mental health problems to become better informed and have better access to self help materials specific to encouraging recovery and well being.
The Information Point includes:
- A lending library with books on many subjects
- Access to the internet
- Signposting to local support groups and services
- Information/Self Help packs for your reference on various different subjects
- Information in regard to lifestyle changes (e.g. healthy eating and exercise)
- Details of activities and events running within your local area
- Learning and Training Opportunities
- Information for Carers
- Information for Youths
What can you expect when you come along and visit the information point?
- A relaxed atmosphere
- Help and support to find out more about various mental health issues
- Support to find out about local support groups and services
- Support to find out how to encourage recovery and well being
- Support to access the internet
Why not come along to our Information Point - Monday to Fridays10am - 4pm (except Tuesdays when we open at 12pm)
We have monthly Information stalls in partnership with Dundee Healthy Living Initiative in the Wellgate Shopping Centre, Dundee, on the following Thursdays in 2009.
