Information Point and Library




Our Information Point and Library is a relaxed, informal and friendly information service which is open to all.

Anyone can pop in Monday - Fridays from 10am - 4pm (except on Tuesdays when we open at 12pm) or you can telephone the information point on 01382 805071 or e-mail damh.info@btconnect.com between these hours, there is an answerphone service for outwith these hours and someone will call you back the following day so please leave a message.

The Information Point offers:

  • Access to the internet
  • Signposting to local and national support groups, services and organisations
  • Information and Self Help packs for your reference on various subjects including Stress, Depression, Anxiety, SAD (seasonal affective disorder), Eating Disorders and many more.  A full list of self help packs are available under the Information Point heading above or alternatively you can request a pack to be sent to you by clicking on the contact us at the top of the page.
  • Information on mental wellbeing

Our Library provides good quality resources on a range of subjects and aims to enable people to develop knowledge and skills and make informed choices to enhance their quality of life. 

Our Library includes Information on:

  • Mental, Physical and Emotional Health and Wellbeing
  • Nutrition and Complementary Therapies
  • We have DVD's and relaxation CD's also available to borrow

We have monthly Information stalls in partnership with Dundee Healthy Living Initiative in the Wellgate Shopping Centre, Dundee, on the following Thursdays in 2010 from 12pm - 3pm
