'Gong' meaning repeated practice or discipline.

What does it do?
Qi exists all around and within us. It connects us to nature, to our environment and harmonises our body, mind and spirit. When we have illness we are in a state of dis-harmony, our qi becomes blocked in the channels and organs of our bodies. Qi-Gong is one method of redressing this balance. It allows us to become more sensitive, self-aware and promotes a sense of inner peace. Having strong Qi means we are happy, healthy and full of vitality!
There are 3 main types of Qi:
- Congenital Qi - inherited from our parents
- Air Qi - Take in by our lungs from fresh air and exercise
- Food Qi - From the food we eat, hopefully fresh, lightly cooked and organic

- Calm the mind
- Strengthen the immune system
- Relieve aches and pains
- Increase flexibility
- Increase energy levels
- Enhance our ability to relax
