Dundee Association for Mental Health provides facilities within the community for people suffering from or recovering from the effects of mental health challenges. We believe that an emphasis should be placed on the concept of recovery
A charitable organization who provide group and 1-1 support for individuals with severe and/or enduring mental health difficulties.
We know that by engaging with group activities, participants will feel more confident, motivated, less isolated and have better coping and self-management skills.
We promote the “5 ways to wellbeing” to assist in achieving outcomes for all participants.

Connect with the people around you, friends’ family neighbours, and colleagues. Building connections will support and enrich you every day
Be Active – Discover a physical activity you enjoy and suits you. Gardening, Dancing, Walking – all will make you feel good
Take Notice – of the world around you. Notice the changing seasons. Reflecting on experiences will help you appreciate what matters to you
Keep Learning – try something new or rediscover an old interest. Learning something new will make you more confident and well as be fun.
Give – do something nice for a friend or stranger, smile, volunteer, join a community group. Being linked to a wider community can be extremely rewarding.
We currently offer
Offering group work, one to one support and drop in facilities.
Connecting and facilitating conservation work withing green spaces throughout Dundee and the surrounding are
Offering a chance to Volunteer with our Support Services working with groups or one a one to one basis one to one basis. Full support as well as training for volunteers is offered.
